Paul T. Stecko – Mr. Stecko has served as the Chief Executive Officer of Packaging Corporation of America since April 1999. From November 1998 to April 1999, Mr. Stecko served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Tenneco Inc. From January 1997 to November 1998, Mr. Stecko served as Chief Operating Officer of Tenneco Inc. From December 1993 through January 1997, Mr. Stecko served as Chief Executive Officer of Tenneco Packaging Inc. Prior to joining Tenneco Packaging Inc., Mr. Stecko spent 16 years with International Paper Company. Mr. Stecko is 63 years old and has been a director of our company since November 1998. He is also a director of State FarmMutual Insurance Company, American Forest and Paper Association and Smurfit Kappa Group, and is the Chairman of the Board of Packaging Corporation of America. Mr. Stecko is a member of the Compensation/Nominating/Governance Committee and the Three-Year Independent Director Evaluation Committee. |
