However, this pressure to succeed can never be an excuse for taking short-cuts that would compromise our integrity. I am personally committed to ensuring that Tenneco as a company and all of us as employees are firmly rooted in this Statement of Business Principles which serves as both a statement of our values and ethics and as a guide to day-to-day business practices. I personally assure you that if you are aware of violations of the Statement of Business Principles, you will not suffer reprisals of any kind for reporting those violations in good faith.
