| TERM |
DEFINITION |
| Maximum Static Radial Load (Newtons): |
The maximum static load applied to the bushing in the radial direction as a result of the GMV loading. |
| Maximum Static Axial Load (N): |
The maximum static load applied to the bushing in the axial direction as a result of the GMV loading. |
| Maximum Torsional Rotation (Degrees): |
The maximum torsional rotation applied to the bushing in the torsional direction as a result of the GMV loading. |
| Maximum Conical Rotation (Degrees): |
The maximum conical rotation applied to the bushing in the torsional direction as a result of the GMV loading. |
| Inner Tube Length (Millimeters): |
Nominal desired length of the bushing's inner sleeve. |
| Press Fit Diameter (mm): |
Nominal bore diameter into which the bushing is pressed. |
| Press Fit Length (mm): |
Nominal length of bore into which the bushing is pressed. |
| One Time Occurrence Dynamic Radial Load (N): |
The maximum dynamic load applied to the bushing in the radial direction as a one time event. Typically the result of an extreme durability event. Bushing may be deformed but is required to maintain some load of functionality. |
| Ten Time Occurrence Dynamic Radial Load (N): |
The maximum dynamic load applied to the bushing in the radial direction as a result of durability events not to exceed a ten times occurrence during the life of the bushing. |
| One Time Occurrence Dynamic Axial Load (N): |
The maximum dynamic load applied to the bushing in the axial direction as a one time event. Typically the result of an extreme durability event. Bushing may be deformed but is required to maintain some load of functionality. |
| Ten Time Occurrence Dynamic Axial Load (N): |
The maximum dynamic load applied to the bushing in the axial direction as a result of durability events not to exceed a ten times occurrence during life of bushing. |
| Bolt Diameter (mm): |
Standard bolt diameter as specified by SAE standard J1199 & J1216 for a given size and grade bolt. |
| Bolt Proof Load (mm) or Bolt Grade: |
Standard bolt proof load as specified by SAE standard J1199 & J1216 for a given size and grade bolt. |
| Max Clamp Load (N):: |
The maximum clamping force provided by the bushing fastener when the fastener is torqued to the top of its torque specification. Alternately, this is the clamping force that the bushing must be able to withstand. The maximum practical limit is the proof load for the bushing fastener but may be lower if the torque is limited by procedure or by strength of other components. |
