Tenneco was one of the first suppliers to commercialize diesel particulate filter (DPF) technology that is 99.9% effective in eliminating emissions from diesel-powered vehicles. Our Continuously Controlled Electronic Suspension (CES) is a breakthrough in ride control technology, providing electronically controlled suspensions that enhance vehicle handling, as well as passenger safety and comfort.

Besides developing these and other advanced products, we do so cost effectively. We use tools such as computer-based prototyping, product simulations and virtual product development that reduce development time and costs. We are also applying Six Sigma principles that enhance the efficiency and quality of our manufacturing to product design.

Our success in bringing useful technology to market has been recognized by both our customers and by the industry with numerous awards, including two prestigious Automotive News PACE Awards for product innovation in less than five years.
