Sagar Hemade, managing director, India, is responsible for Tenneco’s original equipment emission control business in India. He is based in Chakan, India.
Prior to assuming his current role in 2012, Hemade served as India’s operations director, with responsibility for the company’s manufacturing operations in India. He originally joined Tenneco in 1998 as manager, design, and has advanced through positions of increasing responsibility in product engineering, manufacturing operations, sales and program management. Prior to joining Tenneco, Hemade spent three years with Patheja Brothers Ltd.
Hemade holds a bachelor’s degree in engineering from the Walchand Institute of Technology, Solapur and an MBA from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Mumbai and Washington University, St. Louis, U.S.A.
