Arvind Chandra joined Tenneco as Chief Executive Officer of Tenneco India in April 2025, bringing several decades of experience in the automotive sector across manufacturing, marketing, sales, engineering, global business planning and CEO-level leadership across multiple regions.
 
Most recently CEO of India for Aliaxis Group, Arvind has a proven track record of turning challenges into momentum—fueling performance through clear strategy, disciplined execution, and a commitment to developing strong, empowered teams. His career includes leadership roles at several of the industry’s most respected companies:

• Phinia (formerly GM/Delphi)
• Forvia (formerly Faurecia)
• ZF (formerly Wabco)
• Minda Corporation
• Arvind has also consulted with the Toyota Group in Europe and Aptiv in the U.S. 

A global citizen, Arvind has lived and worked in eight countries across four continents, bringing a broad perspective and deep cultural insight to every challenge. Arvind holds a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering from Bombay University; a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering (Robotics) from Oklahoma State University; and an MBA from the University of Michigan.
