EDI is a platform for exchange of business documents that is widely utilized in many manufacturing environments. DRiV prefers to process all B2B communications with their partners via EDI (when suppliers are EDI capable). DRiV utliizes EDI for the following core messages: Scheduling Agreements, Acknowledgments, Advanced Ship Notices (ASNs) and in appropriate cases, Purchase Orders.

Central componenets of the EDI concept are the following standards for the data interchange: Electronic Data Interchange For Administration, Commerce and Transport (EDIFACT), American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and in some European cases, German VDA. These standards are internationally established and no others will be supported by DRiV. DRiV utilizes Covisint as its VAN for suppliers.

Tenneco Interactive Tender Alliance Network (TITAN)

TITAN is a web-based application that suppliers can use for a number of tasks, including but not limited to:

• Register to become a Tenneco supplier
• Submit Quality Certifications
• Receive RFQ's and submit quotes
• Submit PPAP documentation
• TITAN Training

DRiV has a global initiative for paperless collaboration with our suppliers.

DRiV Supplier Portal or "DSP" is a web-based tool for DRiV to collaborate with its supplier base.
DSP provides access to DRiV's TITAN application,Supply Network Collaboration(SNC), and Electronic Material Rejection Reporting(eMRR).

1. Supplier completes "Supplier Registration Form" below.
2. Supplier is approved by GSCM Purchasing.
3. Supplier is granted access to DSP (which allows access to TITAN and SupplyWEB*).
4. Supplier may request to be setup for EDI communications.

* Currently SupplyWEB is accessed outside of DSP. SupplyWEB is scheduled to be accessible via DSP soon

Tenneco's strategy is to have all direct material suppliers using one of two electronic communication methods. The two methods are Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) or Tenneco Supplier Network Collaboration (SNC). Tenneco SNC is a web-based application which allows suppliers to complete a number of collaboration tasks including, but not limited to:

Access to SNC is possible from anywhere with an internet connection

Suppliers can view open requirements from any Tenneco plant

Suppliers can use SNC to submit all required ASNs for shipments to Tenneco

Suppliers can set up alert notifications for a number of relevant supply alerts

Suppliers can use SNC's SMI consoles depending on replenishment strategies

SNC offers suppliers the ability to download demand, shipment, and numerous other information into an Excel spreadsheet

An ASN is required for all direct material shipments to Tenneco.

If your company completes the Tenneco Supplier Registration form and is approved by the appropriate commodity director, your company will automatically be registered in SNC and issued login credentials.
