2024 Sustainability Report

The 2024 Tenneco Sustainability Report highlights continued progress in key ESG areas, including an 18% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions intensity and a 23% drop in energy intensity since 2019. The report also outlines improvements in safety, responsible sourcing, and supplier engagement, while reaffirming Tenneco’s commitment to its 2030 sustainability goals through its People, Planet, and Products framework.

Our Board of Directors is responsible for overseeing management and ensuring that we serve the long-term interests of our stockholders. We monitor and improve responsibility along our supply chain to maintain respect for human rights and mitigate environmental impacts from our suppliers. We also protect our systems with enhancements in security to preserve data privacy for our team members and our customers. As we continue to strengthen governance, we collaborate as One Team to achieve alignment across the whole enterprise and incorporate our values throughout our operations.

Apollo's Inaugural ESG Awards-Excellence in Employee Safety:
We were hongred with the Performance in Responsible Stewardship-Employee Safety Award at Apollo's inaugural
Responsible & Sustainable Portfolio Conference in 2024. The award underscored Tenneco's commitment to providing a safe and secure work environment for all team members.

 

Tenneco earned a silver medal and ranked in the 91th percentile per EcoVadis’ sustainability ratings in 2025.

 

Tenneco was recognized by Nissan as a Sustainability Partner for demonstrating sustainable and socially responsible business practices.

 

Tenneco was recognized by Ethisphere, a global leader in defining and advancing the standards of ethical business practices, as one of the World’s Most Ethical Companies in 2022 and 2023.
