Tenneco Automotive received the Silver World Excellence Award for its Gripper™ product, an innovative stabilizer bar technology. The Silver Award is given to suppliers that stand out in quality, delivery and cost.

The company also received a Recognition of Achievement Award in the Consumer Driven Six Sigma category, which recognizes supplier black belt projects that had a direct impact on Ford consumer satisfaction. Tenneco Automotive received the Consumer Driven Six Sigma award for a black belt project involving its catalytic converter technology at its emission control operations in South Africa.
