Lake Forest, IL October 22, 2012 – Tenneco (NYSE: TEN) has announced that Dr. Ben Patel, vice president, emission control, global research and development and systems integration will be a featured speaker at the Diesel Emissions Conference and DEF Forum 2012, October 30-November 1, 2012 in Cincinnati.
 
Patel will highlight several of Tenneco’s key aftertreatment innovations that help engine and vehicle manufacturers meet increasingly stringent emissions regulations globally. Included in discussion will be the role of liquid urea SCR; alternative aftertreatment strategies that address unique market and regional needs and the best way to optimize emission control solutions through systems integration.
 
Tenneco also will display some of its key technologies at the conference, including its XNOx SCR Aftertreatment System for NOx abatement, the company’s T.R.U.E.-Clean® thermal management devices and a product featuring XNOx™ SCR to address EUVI emissions regulations for commercial trucks.
