Tenneco Emissions Technology Expert Among Featured Speakers At 2013 International Workboat Show

Lake Forest, IL October 4, 2013 – Tenneco Inc. (NYSE:TEN) announced today that Tom Spinks, Clean Air business development manager, will present at the upcoming 2013 International Workboat Show in New Orleans. Presenting with Spinks will be Mark Masor, manager, Gulf Coast operations for Gibbs & Cox.
 
Spinks and Masor will be part of a session titled "Complying with New Emission Regulations." The 90-minute session, scheduled for Thursday, October 10, at 2 p.m., will focus on upcoming EPA Tier 4 and IMO Tier III regulations. As part of the session, Spinks and Masor will discuss ways to integrate the required aftertreatment technology into vessel design to best achieve pending reductions in government-mandated emissions levels.
 
Tenneco’s exhibit, located in the Morial Convention Center, booth 3920, will feature a version of Tenneco’s proprietary XNOx™ SCR aftertreatment system for NOx abatement specifically developed for the marine industry.
